Week Eleven Prompt

The change in medium for Ebooks and Audiobooks can change appeal factors because they become more accessible for a larger group of people. Some people absorb books better if they aren’t having to physically carry the book around. Personally, I have less time to hold a book or read an ebook, but I have a lot more time to listen to audiobooks. Therefore, I am more likely to listen to a book and still experience the book and gain the knowledge without having to physically hold it. Readers being able to change the font, line, spacing, and color of text can slightly change the pacing and tone, but overall, reading is for personal experience, and allowing there to be accessible options for ebooks will allow more people to experience a vast array of books that they may not have been able to experience before. Making text larger can slow the pacing of the book, and changing the color can change the tone, for sure. Overall, I think the incorporation of ebooks and audiobooks allow more readers to experience the same novel in different mediums and at a different pace.
